Finite Earth Environmental offers wetland delineation services that are thorough and defensible. The Environmental Protection Agency and US Corp of Engineers state the three criteria of hydrology, hydric soil, and hydrophilic vegetation must be present to delineate wetlands from uplands. Mitigations
Finite Earth also assists in compensatory mitigation plans and monitoring established wetlands. Mitigation plans to establish wetlands by restoration, creation, or through wetland credit purchase can be developed depending on the landowner’s project. Annual monitoring reports are also prepared by Finite Earth. The Clean Water Act Section 404 guidelines require that proposed development avoid wetlands, minimize impacts, and provide compensatory mitigation to off set impacts.
